2019 is finally upon us and although I am a couple months late to the New Year, New Me party, I thought I would chime in with some of the things I'm ready for this year!

New Experiences

I cannot wait to delve more into new experiences and find more of myself this year! As a 23 year old, I have yet to do so many things people think to do when they're jumping into Freshman year of college. So I'm excited to go out with friends more, maybe do a little clubbing and check out that scene, maybe try out the millennial dating world now that I'm single again and see how that fares!

Food

One of my really big goals for the new year has been to either eat out at newer places and try new food OR cook more for myself and try new recipes. I really want to get into learning new recipes and cooking for myself because it's great knowing what's actually going into your food and just feeling accomplished you made it yourself.

Opportunities

I felt like I held back on a lot of opportunities last year because I was so caught up in my past relationship and catering to others that I think it's time that I see what new opportunities are available to me this time around! Maybe a new job, some more traveling with different groups of friends, consistent blogging perhaps??

Me, Myself and I

I have to admit; I haven't put in a lot of effort into myself, my appearance, my physical and mental health as much as I should have the past couple years. Maybe it was the happy relationship stage, maybe it was the frumpy uniforms at my new/last job and maybe it was just simply me letting myself go because I didn't feel like I needed to try anymore. Well, let me tell ya something. Natalie is back and she's going to try to become a better version of herself. At least that's what I'm hoping for. Most importantly, I want to work on my mental health. I really pushed my mental health to the side last year and it put me in the worst place possible, so after I earn a bit of money and prepare my itty bitty heart - I'm going to invest myself into some therapy. Wish me luck!

Let's hope for the best in 2019 and if you were born in 1995 or are Year of the Pig, it's our year!
